Plain-language terms for using DevForgeAI. By using the product you agree to these terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DevForgeAI's web application, documentation generation tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
DevForgeAI offers two no-cost access tiers. The Free Trial provides one full document generation run using a canned project scenario, at DevForgeAI's cost, with no credit card or account required. The Free Preview allows generation of up to 5 documents from your own project brief, also at DevForgeAI's cost, with no credit card required.
Free access tiers are for evaluation purposes only. We reserve the right to limit or modify free access to prevent abuse or excessive API cost exposure.
Starter Pack ($10 one-time). Upon purchase, DevForgeAI grants you 3 generation credits. Each credit entitles you to one complete pipeline run, regardless of the number of documents selected. Credits do not expire. Starter Pack runs use DevForgeAI's managed AI key — no API key is required.
Lifetime License ($97 one-time). Upon purchase, DevForgeAI grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Service for unlimited project documentation runs. Your license is for individual use only and may not be shared, resold, or sub-licensed. Lifetime License holders must supply their own AI provider API key. DevForgeAI provides the platform; you provide the AI.
Team / PMO Plan (monthly subscription). Your subscription grants a licence for up to the number of seats included in your plan. Each seat must be used by a distinct individual. Seat licences may not be shared between multiple people simultaneously.
Generated documents. Documents generated using the Service are yours. You own the output. You may use, edit, distribute, and present generated documents for any lawful commercial or non-commercial purpose without restriction. DevForgeAI makes no claim to ownership of output generated using your project brief.
Lifetime License holders supply their own AI provider API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral, or Groq). By providing an API key, you confirm that you are authorised to use that key and that your use complies with your provider's terms of service. DevForgeAI holds your API key in session memory only — it is never written to disk, logged, or transmitted to DevForgeAI's infrastructure beyond the processing required to complete your generation request.
Free Trial, Free Preview, and Starter Pack users do not need to supply an API key. DevForgeAI uses its own managed key for these tiers. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and content of your project brief.
For Lifetime License holders, AI provider API charges (approximately $0.50–$2.00 per full run) are billed directly by your provider to your account. DevForgeAI is not liable for these charges.
For Free Trial, Free Preview, and Starter Pack users, DevForgeAI absorbs the AI cost. Starter Pack credits are prepaid at $10 for 3 runs.
You retain full ownership of any project brief, data, or content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant DevForgeAI a limited, temporary licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your documents. This licence expires when your session ends.
DevForgeAI does not store, log, or retain your project brief after your session closes. Your content is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable laws.
You agree not to use the Service to:
DevForgeAI produces AI-assisted starting points, not certified or legally validated documents. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and customising outputs to your specific project context, organisational standards, and applicable regulations before using them with stakeholders.
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or generic language that does not precisely reflect your project's circumstances. The richer and more specific your project brief, the more accurate and specific the output will be.
DevForgeAI makes no warranty that generated documents will meet any specific regulatory, compliance, or certification requirement. Users in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, legal) are responsible for ensuring that documentation meets applicable standards before use.
The DevForgeAI platform, software, user interface, branding, and any proprietary generation pipeline are owned by DevForgeAI Software Development LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of DevForgeAI's intellectual property to you.

Generated document output belongs to you. See Section 3.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. By purchasing a license or subscription, you agree to that processor's terms of service.
Starter Pack and Lifetime License purchases are one-time and non-recurring. Team plan subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. DevForgeAI does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevForgeAI's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to DevForgeAI in the twelve months preceding the claim.
In no event shall DevForgeAI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if DevForgeAI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
DevForgeAI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by PeopleCert (PRINCE2®), Scaled Agile, Inc. (SAFe®), the Project Management Institute, or any other methodology standards organisation.
Methodology-adapted document output reflects common terminology and conventions associated with each framework and is not a substitute for certified training, official framework guidance, or formal accreditation. PRINCE2® is a registered trademark of PeopleCert. SAFe® is a registered trademark of Scaled Agile, Inc.
DevForgeAI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tennessee.
