DevForgeAI is operated by DevForgeAI Software Development LLC, Nashville, TN. We build AI-powered project documentation tools for project managers and delivery teams. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@devforgeai.net.
Project brief content. When you generate documents, the text of your project brief is transmitted to an AI provider (your chosen provider or, during the free trial, ours) for processing. This content is not logged, stored in a database, or retained by DevForgeAI after your session ends. We operate on a stateless processing model: your brief goes in, your documents come out, and nothing is kept on our infrastructure.
Session parameters. Project name, industry, methodology selection, timeline, and budget range are held in memory for the duration of your active session only. They are discarded when the session ends and are never written to persistent storage.
Waitlist and contact form submissions. If you submit your name and email address via our waitlist form or contact form, we store that information to send you the launch notification you requested. We send one email at launch. We do not send marketing campaigns, and we do not share your contact details with third parties.
Purchase information. Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. DevForgeAI does not store or handle credit card data. We receive a transaction record (order ID, email, license tier or credit pack) sufficient to fulfil your purchase and handle support requests.
Standard web analytics. We may collect anonymised usage metrics (page visits, session duration, feature usage) to understand how the product is being used. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
When you generate documents, your brief is transmitted directly to the AI provider's API for processing. The AI provider returns the generated content. DevForgeAI packages that content into your document files and presents them for download. At no point is your brief written to a DevForgeAI database, file system, or log file. When your session closes, the data is gone.
For Free Trial, Free Preview, and Starter Pack users, your brief is processed using DevForgeAI's managed OpenAI API key. The provider's own data and privacy policies apply to that transmission. DevForgeAI does not retain your brief after processing.
For Lifetime License holders who bring their own API key, your brief is transmitted directly to your chosen AI provider account under your credentials. Your data governance is entirely governed by your provider agreement. DevForgeAI never sees, stores, or processes your API key beyond the duration of your session — it is held in memory only and is never written to disk or transmitted to any DevForgeAI system.
No personally identifiable information is required in your project brief. You can and should anonymise stakeholder names, financial figures, and other sensitive details if your organisation's policies require it. Output quality is not materially affected by anonymisation.
DevForgeAI integrates with the following AI providers. When you generate documents, your brief content is transmitted to the provider you select. Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data.
We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law or as necessary to deliver the service (e.g. payment processing).
DevForgeAI uses minimal, functional cookies required for session management and standard web analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks. We do not serve ads, and we do not allow advertisers to track users through our properties.
Project brief data is never retained — it is processed in-session and discarded. There is nothing to delete.
Contact and waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal. To be removed from our waitlist or contact records, email support@devforgeai.net with the subject line Data Removal Request and we will action it within 5 business days.
Purchase records (order ID, license tier, email) are retained for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to handle support requests and comply with applicable accounting requirements.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we do hold. API keys provided by licensed users are held in session memory only — they are never written to disk, logged, or transmitted to DevForgeAI's infrastructure. All data transmission is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS.
If you work in a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, government, legal), no personally identifiable information, protected health information, or classified data is required in your project brief. Anonymise names, reference numbers, and financial details before submitting. The quality of your generated documents will not be materially affected.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users who have provided a contact email. Continued use of DevForgeAI after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
